Dear friends of Local Purse,
Hope your 2023 is off to a solid and safe start. It has been quite an incredible yet challenging two years on so many fronts. You have all shown up for us in wonderful ways to support our mission and vision in connecting local guides and artisans to a global audience virtually as a sustainable way of making income.
For this, we are truly grateful.
However, funding and resources remain the lifeline for any startup. We have been personally bootstrapping to date. We would like to share with you that, to be able to grow sustainably, we need to restructure our resources.
We are going to take a short break to realign and reassess potential resources, and more importantly, review how we can bring more of the right team members on board.
During this extended break, we are still available to be contacted and we will respond to your requests as soon as we can. And we are going to come back stronger and grow in a more sustainable way.
Above all, we want to be a true social impact startup and solid platform for all our partners, both old and new.
